JENNY CHAPMAN'S BIO


In 2003, Jenny graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. In 2008, she received her certification from the National Personal Training Institute. In 2009, Jenny received her C.P.T certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.


Jenny’s ambition to become a personal trainer began innately from her pure enjoyment of the sports she has been engaged in all her life. She played competitive tennis starting at age 10, and continued to play through high school and college. She also enjoys running marathons, sprint triathlons and surfing.

 

Jenny believes that all sports and fitness conditioning incorporates various aspects of the mind, body and soul. And, through her own experience, she has found these aspects to be very empowering and enlightening.

 

Jenny’s motivation to help others with their own fitness and wellness goals perpetuated not only from her love of sports and fitness, but from her own health challenges. In 2003, Jenny was diagnosed with Lyme disease and had to undergo numerous holistic and western medicinal treatments. Depression, anxiety and self-sabotaging thoughts also hindered her over all sense of well-being and happiness. She now sees her physical and mental challenges as a blessing in disguise, because they taught her how to take better care of herself and inspired her to help others improve their own health through fitness, nutrition and other health modalities. Her disease has inspired her to maintain a healthier lifestyle, which plays a huge role in the treatment and healing of this disease. Her healthy eating habits, regular exercise, positive outlook on life, humor and indulging in natural healing techniques enable her to maintain an active, healthy and happy life.

 

Jenny also worked on her emotional health using various cognitive therapies, which have given her a more positive perspective as well as tools to combat any recurring depression and anxiety. Exercising has been a great healer to her mind, body and soul. She believes in achieving a balance to all of these, in order to maintain and improve all fitness and wellness goals.

 

Jenny believes that, when one of these three human elements becomes out of balance, so do the other two. She teaches by example, and believes this is a key factor in encouraging others. Her protocol is to enjoy the healthy lifestyle that she has consistently integrated for herself. She has learned not only from her own experience but from those close to her who have shared their experiences and knowledge. She has also learned a great deal from observing unhealthy lifestyles.

 

Jenny has often stated that if a person has no motivation then there will be no consistency; therefore, no results! It starts with loving oneself unconditionally, which strengthens the motivation to change. She deems all of her experiences, negative and positive, as necessary lessons that allowed for her profound growth towards physical and emotional healing. She realizes that there are many people who are challenged in one way or another, whether it be a fitness or health issue.

 

Jenny has gained great confidence through her education and experience, and has spent an extensive amount of quality time preparing a well rounded and successful formula for your fitness and wellness goals. She looks forward to guiding you to a healthier and happier new you!
