Boot Camp is ideal for those that enjoy working out with others. Clients are surrounded with health/sport conscious minded people, which is a very motivating & educational experience. It is also very economical because the clients get to join in on unlimited workout sessions during the times scheduled 6 days a week and get the attention of a personal trainer at the same time.
We keep it fun & motivating! One key to achieving that excitement is incorporating outdoor workouts at the facility. In addition, there is outdoor sports/fitness activities scheduled around beautiful areas of Los Angeles. These activities require advanced registration.
Fuel's Equipment
At the facility we provide a multitude of equipment such as dumbbells, barbells, weight balls, kettle bells, ladders, hurdles, plyo-boxes, jump ropes, bosu balls, resistant bands, suspension equipment, gym mats, stackable steps, agility pattern mats, an elliptical, a treadmill, a concept 2 rower, Lemond/star track indoor cycling bikes, weight cable machine,Versa-Climber and other equipment providing diverse & result-driven results. Fuel Rx also has a mobile trailer fully loaded with equipment for outdoor bootcamp!

BOOTCAMP FORMAT
The bootcamp sessions are a combination of weight & cardio training. Fuel designed a circuit/ interval format that will optimize your results while making it more fun! To spice up the thrill clients have fun with obstacles,relays & races too!
Here are some of the Hot Craze Workouts incorporated into the circuit/interval sessions that clients love about Exclusive Bootcamp:
Weight Training
Clients do both upper & lower body exercises simultaneously. It burns more fat in a shorter amount of time while still targeting specific muscles of the body.One reason why it burns more fat is it keeps
your heart rate up. So it is also a cardio driven weight training workout. A fitness assessment for each client will determine the intial starting point for the amount of reps, sets, load and target heart rate to reach.
X-Terrain Challenge
The X-Terrain Challenge is using the streets and off-road trails as the gym. Fuel Rx has a walking group, a walk/jogger group and a runner group. You will follow the lead trainer through an X distance executing different exercises along the path. Imagine walking or running and then suddenly jumping, lunging, dodging between trees, hopping on one leg, skipping over rocks, using a tree stump to do some step-ups, playing relay speed tag, or walk or run stairs along the terrain. Depending on the level of the challenge each of the above sample exercises are modified to your fitness level.
This is a great workout for all levels. If you are a walker then you would love to try the X-Terrain Challenge 1. The Challenge 1 is an easy to moderate intensity workout. If you are combining walking with jogging then the X-Terrain Challenge 2 is for you. The Challenge 2 is a moderate to hard intensity. If you are a runner then the Xtreme terrain challenge 3 is what you are looking for. Challenge 3 is a hard to xtreme difficulty intensity. If you are interested in completing or beating your personal best in a 5k, 10k, ½ or Full Marathon then this is the most epic workout to include in your program. You will get the results you want!
If you are just looking to spice up your general fitness workouts or do some cross training for a specific sport then you will not only find it motivating but it will be a new adventure every time. The best part is you will find yourself exceeding your expectations in fitness or in your specific sport.
Indoor Cycling
Experience a high energetic workout! All levels can join in on the fun. Cycle to the beat of disco, rock 'n roll, techno & other great songs! You will have a blast & strengthen your conditioning in a comfortable progressive program. Its low impact but still gives you a great cardio workout. In addition, it will increase the power & strength in your lower body (legs, glutes).
TRX
TRX is a total body workout. This BODY resistance suspension training system targets each muscle group while burning fat, toning the body and strengthening core and balance to boot.
Plyometrics / Calisthenics
This only requires you (the machine) & the gym floor! It is both an awesome anaerobic and aerobic all in ONE workout. Each exercise can be modified to each client's fitness level. In 3 minutes you will know how results-driven these exercises are. There are so many exercise variations to participate in that clients never find themselves bored. Not only does it improve the lactic threshold in every client (Improve the cardiovascular system), but improves clients' muscle strength, power & endurance.
Outdoor Bootcamp
Check out Fuel's calendar for outdoor workouts that are included in the 4 week program. One of the fav to mix the routine up is a Vortex beach workout, Stand-up paddle board or surfing.
Vortex Training
You will be working out with bare feet along the seashore. You will experience a sense of well-being and rejuvenation. It is the power of mother earth's vortex that gives you this incredible energy which penetrates your mind, body and soul. Rid yourself of toxins, negative thoughts and improve your fitness conditioning. It is an empowering workout especially for those that need a shot of motivation. Be prepared to get a bit wet, possibly up to waist level. Wear suitable attire.
OTHER FUN CROSS TRAINING WORKOUTS

Hiking with weight training in the beautiful outdoors. Different locations around the San Fernando Valley to Malibu mountainous trails are fun workouts & inspiring.
- Duathlon sprints. This consist of a Run/Bike/Run or a Hike/Bike/Hike (other combos too).
- Outdoor street or off-road biking.
These are just a few of the power-driven workouts/ sports that will self-empower you throughout the mind, body & soul!
All workouts are modified to your fitness level (low, moderate, or high intensity). All levels of conditioning can join in on the same workout. The trainer will guide you through the differences.
